New customer centre for Holder
19. September 2018
On 10 September it was finally time: Max Holder GmbH became fully operational at its new site in the intermunicipal economic territory Reutlingen-Nord / Kirchentellinsfurt. The next milestone is now being set a little more than a week later. A new customer centre is being built and Holder therefore invited guests to the obligatory ground-breaking ceremony.
The Holder Customer Centre at the old location in Metzingen was always a visitor magnet since its opening in 2010 and not only a meeting place for customers and staff, but also a venue for numerous internal and external Holder events. This tradition is to be continued at the new site and a new flagship for Holder is to be established. On around 5,000 m² there is enough space for everything that the "Holder heart" desires: The plans include a demonstration park with practical conditions for testing the vehicles, a modern office and showroom building, as well as spacious storage areas for the comprehensive demonstration and event equipment.
The fact that there was already a deep pit on the day of the ground-breaking ceremony is viewed as a positive sign by Managing Director Andreas Vorig: "An early start to the construction work gives us a buffer and perhaps even allows for an early launch of the new customer centre." The official opening is planned for summer 2019. After an investment of almost 2 million euros in the renovation of the newly occupied production hall, according to Martin Haas, founder and CEO of Staufen AG, and with Ralf Stokar von Neuforn, shareholder, and investors of Holder, a further 6 million euros will be spent on the new build. "We see this as an investment in a strong brand at a future-oriented location", adds Haas.
