New chief managing director at Holder
20. November 2009
As of October 1st 2009, Andreas Vorig (39) has taken over the position of chief managing director of the established Max Holder GmbH in Metzingen, Germany.
"Holder has always been a company driven by innovation. This commitment will also be applied internally to further enhance our processes and to optimise product quality and timeliness of delivery", says Andreas Vorig, manager of the Max Holder GmbH. "I see a challenge in developing Holder into a solution provider focussing on the customer's requirements for the use and service."
In his previous position, Andreas Vorig held a six-year position as manager of nexMart GmbH & Co. KG, Stuttgart, a joint company serving the electrical and trade tools industry. Mr Vorig has a master's degree in business administration and is an expert in the optimisation of internal as well as business-to-business processes. He also looks back at seven years in the support and implementation of ERP systems where he gained extensive experience in the engineering-to-order and assemble-to-order production of special-purpose vehicles and other business areas.
Following a six-month transition period, current managing director Andreas Frisch will leave the company on his own volition after 11 years on March 31st 2010. Until then, Mr Frisch will be responsible for finances and production while Andreas Vorig assumes responsibility for marketing, development, IT, and business organisation.
The executive partners Martin Haas, Dr. Christoph Weiß and Dr. Carl-Heiner Schmid would like to take this opportunity to express their gratitude to Andreas Frisch for all his work and to wish him all best for the future.
